Interior demolition for kitchens, bathrooms and condos, down to clean walls and subfloor
Non-structural interior demolition across Broward and Miami-Dade: cabinets, tile, tubs, flooring and drywall torn out and hauled away. Room demo from $750.
01Rooms and materials we gut
Interior demolition is the job Dany wants most, and it is where his crew spends a lot of its week. A remodel cannot start until the old room is gone, and that is the part Rapid Haul handles: strip it out, load it, haul it, sweep it.
Typical scopes look like this.
- Kitchens: upper and lower cabinets, countertops, backsplash tile, sinks and old appliances
- Bathrooms: tubs, shower surrounds, vanities, toilets, wall and floor tile
- Flooring: tile, carpet and pad, laminate, vinyl and wood, taken down to the subfloor or slab
- Drywall, ceilings and trim in the work area
- Partition walls that hold nothing up, once your builder confirms it
- Full condo and house interiors before a renovation or sale
02Where our interior work stops
This is non-structural tear-out. Rapid Haul does not remove walls, beams or columns that carry the floor or roof above. If anyone on the job is unsure whether a wall is holding something up, it stays until your engineer or builder signs off, and removing a weight-carrying wall is their work, not ours.
The general contractor or the property owner pulls any permit the remodel needs. Dany does not pull permits and does not run your renovation. He does the gut, and your builder takes it from there.
Utilities must be dealt with before the crew arrives. Your electrician, plumber and gas company shut off and cap every line in the rooms being torn out. The crew will not cut into a wall or pull a fixture with live power, water or gas behind it.

03What sets the price of a room demo
Room demo starts at $750. The final number is flat and all-in, covering labor, tear-out, carrying debris out, hauling and disposal, and Dany gives it to you before work starts.
A few things move it up or down. Tile is the big one: a bathroom with tile floor to ceiling on a mortar bed is far heavier than one with a fiberglass surround. Layers matter too, like two floors of tile stacked on each other. Access counts, especially in condos where every bucket goes down a hallway and an elevator. Text photos of each wall, the floor and the way out of the building, and the quote will be close on the first try.
Jobs of $1,000 and over, which covers most full kitchens and whole-unit guts, take a 50% deposit to lock the date. The rest is due at the end.
04Condo and HOA buildings in Broward and Miami-Dade
A lot of interior work here happens in condo towers and HOA communities, and those buildings usually have rules. Many set quiet hours, ask for the service elevator to be booked, want floors and walls in common areas protected, and limit where a truck can sit while loading. Get the building's rules and any approval letter before the date, and send them to Dany so the crew plans around them.
Heat and rain matter even indoors. With the AC often off during a gut, the crew starts early in the day, and debris goes straight onto the truck rather than sitting outside in a summer storm.

05What your builder walks into after we leave
When the crew finishes, the rooms on the scope are empty down to studs, subfloor or slab, depending on what you asked for. Loose nails and tile chips are swept up, debris is gone from the property, and the hallway or elevator path is cleared. Your plumber, electrician and tile setter can walk in and start measuring the same day. If something extra turns up behind a wall, the crew stops and calls you before touching it.
06What remodelers and owners say
Sherrick W. hired Dany for the "Demolition of my Bathroom" and said the job "was done in a timely manner." Giovanni C. wrote that the crew "did a phenomenal job on the demolition of my condo." Geri C. had her bathroom demoed and sofas removed on the same visit. Rosa R., whose family runs a remodeling business, said they have used other companies for demolition and "never had a company as great as Danys."

Real job, sped up
Walls and finishes out, debris gone
Non-structural tear-out of drywall and finishes, then everything is loaded and hauled away.

How the job runs, step by step

Step 1
Confirm scope and shut-offs
The crew walks each room with you, marks what stays, and checks that electric, water and gas are already off and capped.

Step 2
Cover paths and gut the room
Hallways and floors that stay get protected, then cabinets, fixtures, tile, flooring and drywall come out in order.

Step 3
Carry out and haul
Debris is bagged or carried straight to the truck, then hauled to disposal the same day.

Step 4
Sweep down to the subfloor
The room is swept clean so your builder can measure and start without clearing scraps first.
Interior Demolition: common questions
Something else on your mind? Call (754) 249-1015.
How much does interior demolition cost?
Room demo starts at $750. Kitchens with heavy tile or whole-unit guts cost more. Text photos to (754) 249-1015 and Dany will send one flat price that includes hauling and disposal.
What license do you need to do demolition in Florida?
That depends on the work, so ask your builder or your county's building department. Rapid Haul keeps to non-structural tear-out and haul-away, and the general contractor or property owner pulls any permit.
Can you remove a wall between my kitchen and living room?
Only if your builder or engineer confirms it is a partition that holds nothing up. Walls that carry weight are not work Rapid Haul does.
Do you do condo demolition?
Yes, condo interiors are regular work. Send Dany your building's rules on hours, elevator booking and parking so the crew can plan around them.
What do I need to do before the crew arrives?
Have your electrician, plumber and gas company shut off and cap the lines in the work area, clear personal items out of the rooms, and get any building approval in hand.
Do you need a deposit?
Jobs of $1,000 and over take a 50% deposit to hold the date. The balance is due when the room is gutted and swept.
