What we clear

In South Florida, a side yard or back lot left alone for one rainy season turns into a wall of growth. Add a storm or a landscaper who cut but did not haul, and you have a pile nobody wants to touch. Rapid Haul clears it, loads it and takes it away.

Typical brush removal and clearing jobs:

  • Overgrown brush, vines and weeds along fences and side yards
  • Cut branches, limbs and palm fronds left in piles
  • Storm debris from fallen limbs and broken landscaping
  • Old landscaping: shrubs, dead plants, mulch and edging
  • Junk mixed into the growth: old furniture, tires, scrap wood
  • Lots and backyards before a project, a sale or a new build starts

Where tree work starts and our job ends

Rapid Haul clears brush and hauls branches, fronds and limbs that are already down or can be cut by hand. Climbing, felling standing trees and grinding stumps are work for a tree service. If a tree company has already dropped and cut a tree, the crew can load and haul what they leave, which is often the part their price does not cover.

Clearing a lot ahead of construction is the same story. The crew clears surface brush and debris so the site is open and visible. Grading, excavation and anything involving the ground itself belongs to your builder. The general contractor or property owner handles any permits for the project.

How Dany prices a clearing job

Send photos from a few angles, including one that shows how far back the growth goes and one of the path to the street. You get one flat, all-in price for clearing, loading, hauling and disposal.

Brush is bulky but light, so the volume and the time it takes to cut and drag matter more than weight. Thick vines in a chain-link fence take longer than loose piles. Junk mixed into the brush, like tires or scrap metal, adds handling. Wet, matted growth after a week of rain is heavier and slower. Dany factors all of that into the number he gives you, so there is no surprise at the end.

Jobs of $1,000 and over, like a full back lot, take a 50% deposit to hold the date.

Yard waste rules and weather here

Cities in Broward and Miami-Dade run their own yard waste and bulk pickups, and those usually have limits on pile size, how branches are cut and bundled, and how often they come. A big clearing job rarely fits. Hauling it privately means it leaves the property the same day instead of sitting at the curb.

Brush clearing in the wet season means mud, mosquitoes and the occasional wasp nest. The crew starts early to beat the heat and the afternoon storms. If you have seen snakes, nests or a beehive in the growth, tell Dany before the date so the crew can plan for it.

Common reasons people call for clearing

Most clearing jobs start with a deadline. A house is going on the market and the side yard is a jungle. A landlord needs a rental ready between tenants. A builder needs the lot visible before a survey. A neighbor or the HOA has complained about the fence line. After a storm, limbs and fronds are scattered across the yard and the city pickup is weeks out.

Whatever the reason, the job is the same: cut back what is overgrown, pull out what is buried in it, load everything, and leave the ground open. If there is also an old shed, a rotted fence or a pile of junk in the same yard, add it to the same visit. One trip and one flat price is simpler than booking separate jobs, and Dany will tell you the combined number up front.

What the space looks like after

The crew leaves the cleared area raked down to the ground, with loose debris, sticks and trash picked up. Fence lines are visible again, and you can see what you are working with, whether that is a spot for a new patio, a lot ready for a survey, or just a yard you can walk across.

Samsara H. wrote that Dany and his team helped her parents clear trash from their home and "they were great!!" Ezra V. said the crew left "the entire area clean and ready to use."

    Step 1

The crew walks the growth with you, marks plants and features to keep, and checks for anything hiding inside.

  2. Crew cutting back brush along a fence line

    Step 2

    Cut and drag

Brush, vines and branches are cut back and dragged out to a loading pile, along with any junk found inside.

  3. Brush and branches being loaded for haul-away

    Step 3

  4. Cleared side yard raked down to bare ground

    Step 4

    Rake to the ground

The crew rakes the cleared area and picks up leftover sticks, leaves and trash.
